Today we cannot think of life without internet. Everything has become digital starting from paying bills, watching music, movies, entertainment, shopping, studying etc. The internet has played a pivotal role in making the world a smaller place. Communication has never been so easier, we can easily connect to people around the globe in a matter of seconds, business meetings are done through live conferences and any study/educational material needed could easily be found in the internet world. Does that mean internet has only positive impact in the society? I would say both yes and no. The answer is explained below.

The biggest drawback of internet is that students have become lazy and they lack creative skills. Currently, we can see that students hardly buy books from stores, not focused on class lectures. They take everything for granted as everything is available online. I miss those days when we used to buy books from nearest book stores and the feeling of having a new book is simply ecstatic. The smell of the pages of new books used to give us motivation to study. Even we were so much into the book cover with amazingly handwritten fonts, we wished that we would also incorporate the same writing style in our writings. We felt like intellectuals, professors and we felt like studying the whole book at one go.

But now that naive essence/feeling of buying a book is lost. Kids are too much busy in playing video games, computer games, chatting, surfing online. Of course computers has been boon to mankind and there is no doubt about it. But students gets easily distracted and internet has distracted them to a great extent. Students are more busy watching videos in internet rather than learning a new skills. There is no age to learn and students are fast learners and thus students must sagaciously use their time if they want to be productive in life. Use only computer if you want to learn a new technical skill set. Learning is fun and entertaining and it shapes your future. Besides using computer, try to enjoy the simple pleasures of life which most people forget now a days. Get yourself involved in the following activities if you really want to be creative in life. Education is mandatory and creativity will build you as an artistic person which will make you stand out from the crowd.

Learn Drawing

Drawing is an art. No doubt there are lot of gifted painters and artists. But yes, you can learn and be a greater artist and painter. You don’t need to be talented to learn any thing. You need to have the zeal and motivation and definitely by rigorous practice you can be a good artist.

Learn Handmade Crafts

This is also a great skill to learn. There are so many handmade craft ideas you can make and if they are good enough, you can even sell them. You don’t need to have expensive items to make these crafts. These can be small toys and decorative items. With the help of simple stuffs, you can make these and decorate your house.

Learn Sand art

This is also an amazing skill to learn. You can create this while on vacation and I am sure you will love to make this kind of art.

Conclusion

There are so many creative skills to learn apart from the ones I mentioned above. Thus rather than sitting on computer or mobile, learn these creative skills and you can see the difference.
